NMU has been around since 1899, so you know you’re learning from an established, respected, accredited university. Some of our courses or programs are offered in a hybrid format, meaning you’ll get to spend a brief time on our beautiful, welcoming campus. Evaluate Your Transfer Credits
If you’ve earned previous college credit at another institution or through high-school coursework, there’s a chance your credits may transfer.
Moving Forward
Once you’ve applied to NMU and have been accepted, refer to your personalized enrollment checklist for your next steps to becoming a Wildcat:
- Activate your MyNMU account
- Log in to your MyNMU account
- Register for and complete an online orientation
- Submit a photo for an NMU ID card
- Complete and submit your FAFSA (if applicable)
- NMU’s Code: 002301
- Please note: Processing time for FAFSA is determined by the federal government
- Financial aid opportunities may differ between university programs. Please contact NMU’s Financial Aid Office to explore your individual need and circumstance.
