About Us

NMU’s Global Campus

Welcome, online and distance education learners. We are pleased that you are interested in pursuing education through Northern Michigan University’s Global Campus. You are the 21st-century university students and as such you have different needs and wants about how and where to learn. Our goal is to meet your learning and service needs at the same high standard we do for on-campus students. Whether that means assisting you with registering for classes, helping you learn about financial aid, providing you with tutoring assistance or advising you through your program, we want you to find learning online or off-campus convenient.

“We were able to get to know our peers through discussion boards. It was interesting to see that many of my peers actually worked in the same hospital so I was able to meet employees that I probably wouldn’t have met otherwise. I was able to apply some of the lessons they had learned to my practice.”
