Dear Global Campus Students,

The last academic year certainly was eventful, capped off in March by a major interruption to almost every corner of  Northern Michigan University. Although your courses were online already and you didn’t have to change formats in the middle of the semester, the faculty and staff at the university were undergoing some significant changes that undoubtedly impacted you. More importantly, you most certainly were witnessing massive changes in your personal and professional lives.

As the new academic year begins and we are welcoming our on-campus students back, I wanted to reach out to you and let you know how proud we are of you. We understand what it is like to have busy home and professional lives while taking online courses, which are often more challenging and require more discipline than face-to-face courses. Getting a degree online is impressive; keeping your education a top priority amid all that this last year has brought is nothing short of brilliant.

Congratulations to you for continuing to move forward. Please let us know how we can support you in your pursuit of educational excellence.

Best wishes for a successful and safe fall semester.
